Fees and limits
Route fees
Swaps and triggered orders pay the routing fee of the third-party infrastructure. The fee is included in the quote, and the review sheet shows it before you sign. It depends on the pair: for example, 0% for some stable pairs, 0.02% for SOL against a stablecoin, about 0.1% for most other tokens, and up to 0.5% for tokens less than a day old. The quote always shows the actual figure.
Zauber fee
Zauber charges no fee in this release.
Network fees
Every transaction pays a small Solana network fee in SOL. Your wallet shows it. Keep a little SOL in your wallet even when trading other tokens.
Slippage
- Swaps use automatic slippage by default: the router estimates it per trade and keeps every route available. You can set a fixed cap (0.5%, 1% or 3%) in Settings; a fixed cap can make some routes unavailable.
- Guard (stop) orders use 10% by default (adjustable from 1% to 20% in Settings). The order engine's own default for stops is 20%. A lower value may leave the order unfilled in a fast market.
- Targets and buy-below orders use the order engine's automatic slippage.
Limits
| Limit | Value | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Per spell | 250 USD | First-release safety limit, checked in the app and on the server |
| Per price order | at least 10 USD | Order-engine minimum |
| Order expiry | up to 30 days | Order-engine rule |
| Steps per spell | 8 | Readability |
| Ladder levels | 2 to 10 | Readability |
Expiry
See Orders → Expiry.
Data sources
- Live prices, token search, quotes and orders come from the third-party routing and order infrastructure, through Zauber's server. Some tokens have no reliable price; Zauber then refuses to set levels for them.
- Price history for the chart comes from the GeckoTerminal public API (hourly candles, 7 days, refreshed every minute). If it is unavailable, the chart says so and trading still uses the live price.
- Zauber's server limits how often it calls these services. When they are busy you may see "busy, retrying…".
